Shenandoah Conservatory's BFA Acting seniors will be holding their showcase April 26th 2023, and Amanda is thrilled to be performing a scene from the short Crabs in a Barrel to wrap up her time at Shenandoah University. She's so thankful to have learned and grown alongside her amazing and talented classmates during the last four years and looking forward to what her future holds!

Amanda got the chance to be in her first major film project in January as a part of the SIDES team. The opportunity to learn how to be quick on your feet, consistent, and patient is something she's grateful to have gained along the way. The film is currently in Post Production and she's excited to see the finished film upon its release!

Her last main stage production at Shenandoah University was as Juror 7 in 12 Angry Jurors. She never thought she would be able to be a part of putting a new spin on this classic piece, especially a spin that encouraged her to speak Spanish during a main stage production at a predominantly white institution. She feels grateful to have worked alongside an amazing cast and crew to bring this ever important story to life in a way that incorporated intersectionality and called on others to reflect on the current state of our judicial system and the way biases can affect our views on what's truly "fair".
